Wild Minds Fees and Policies

Thank you for choosing Wild Minds Allied Health for your care. We are committed to providing high-quality, ethical and timely services. To support transparency and shared understanding, we have outlined our fees, payment expectations and key policies below. Please read this information carefully prior to commencing services.

Current Fees

Psychology Fees

Private (Fee-for-Service)

  • $245 per session (50-minute appointment)

 

NDIS (Self-Managed, Plan-Managed, or NDIA-Managed)

  • $232.99 per session (in line with the current NDIS Price Guide)

 

Sessions are typically booked as standard appointments, with fees charged proportionately where session lengths vary.

Assessment Fees

Wild Minds Allied Health offers a range of psychological assessment packages across the lifespan. Assessment fees vary depending on the purpose, complexity and scope of the assessment.

 

Assessment packages are designed using best-practice principles and may include:

  • Clinical interview and history taking

  • Standardised assessment tools

  • Clinical observations

  • Information from multiple informants (e.g. parents, teachers, carers), where appropriate, and across multiple environments (home, school, work, clinic etc)

  • Scoring, interpretation and clinical formulation

  • A comprehensive written report

  • A feedback session to discuss results and recommendations

All assessment fees and inclusions are clearly outlined in an individualised Assessment Proposal Form prior to commencement.

  • Full payment is required within 14 days of invoice issue

  • Assessment reports are not released until payment has been received

  • If an assessment proposal expires or the scope changes, a new proposal may be required, which can affect timelines and fees

Medicare Rebates

Medicare rebates may apply if you have a valid GP Mental Health Treatment Plan or other eligible referral in place.

  • Payment is required in full on the day of your appointment

  • We can assist with processing your Medicare rebate after payment

  • Medicare rebates cannot be claimed for multiple parent-only sessions where a child has been referred under a Mental Health Treatment Plan

We do not routinely bulk bill. Bulk billing may only be considered in exceptional circumstances and requires direct approval from the Director.

Private Health Insurance

Some private health funds may offer rebates for psychological services, depending on your level of cover. Please check directly with your health fund, as eligibility and rebate amounts vary between providers and policies.

Payment for Services
Private Clients

  • Payment is required on the day of your appointment

  • We accept EFTPOS, credit card, cash and direct debit

  • Outstanding accounts may result in postponement of future appointments until payment is received

 

NDIS Clients

  • Self-Managed: Payment is required on the day of service

  • Plan-Managed / Agency-Managed: Payment is required within two weeks of service delivery

If there are delays or discrepancies in funding, it is the participant’s responsibility to ensure payment is received before the next appointment.

 

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise. We ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Appointments cancelled, rescheduled or missed with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a fee equal to the full session cost.

  • Clients who exceed two late cancellations or non-attendances may be moved to the waiting list and may be required to pre-pay for future appointments

Cancellations can be made by phone or email. If there is no answer, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.​​
